This free FKEY makes it easy to obtain the color of a given pixel.
Calling the FKEY “freezes” the current screen. Clicking the cursor (which should be an eye dropper) on any pixel displays that pixel’s color in RGB, HSV, and CMY color models on the menu bar.
Pressing a key restores the menu bar; use the Enter key to copy the current color values (as TEXT) to the clipboard. The default TEXT format is Pascal. Press the Caps Lock key to format the TEXT for C.
If executed on a machine running in color, the current menu colors will be used to display the information.
This FKEY ID is 5. It can be installed with Suitcase or copied into the System File using ResEdit, renumbering as necessary.
